No. All of these sessions are built for people who have never picked up a brush, and an instructor talks the room through it from the first stroke.

To most of them, yes, from age five, with an adult painting alongside. Six are for adults only: the two paint and sip evenings, paint your partner, portrait, oil and the self-guided session. Every workshop page says which before you book.

Yes, one per person, with more available to buy. The BYOB evening is exactly what it sounds like. Most other sessions are happy for you to bring your own, and there are light refreshments in the studio either way.

Acrylic dries during the session, so nearly everything leaves with you. Oils travel but stay wet for days and need to lie flat somewhere safe. Pastels get a fixative before you go. The fluid bear is the only one that stays overnight, ready to collect the next day.
