Melt and pour your own soy wax candle, choosing the vessel and blending the fragrance and colour yourself, or make a gel candle that ends up looking more like a small sculpture than something you would burn. Ninety minutes, wax, wicks, vessels and oils all provided.
Good to know
How soon can I light it?
Leave it at least 48 hours. Both the soy and the gel wax need that long to cure properly, and a candle lit before it has set never burns as well afterwards.
Do I choose the scent myself?
Yes. There are over 50 fragrance oils to blend from and around 20 dyes you can mix, so the candle you carry out is a colour and a smell you chose rather than one off a shelf.
What is the difference between the two workshops?
Soy wax melting is the classic one: pick a vessel, blend a fragrance, pour it. The gel candle uses a clear wax and ends up looking more like a small sculpture, with decorations set inside it. Both run 90 minutes.
Can children come?
Yes, from age five, with an adult taking part alongside them. Both candle sessions are suitable for kids and adults together.
