Our Kintsugi Home DIY Kit invites you to rebuild a ceramic piece by hand, illuminating every join with gold instead of trying to make the damage disappear. Inside the box, you’ll find a specially selected ceramic bowl presented in several matching sections, together with the tools and carefully measured materials required to reassemble it at home. Begin by exploring how the pieces fit together. Then mix the two-part adhesive, add the golden pigment and reconnect the ceramic one section at a time. As the golden seams emerge, the piece takes on an entirely new character - shaped by separation, patience and repair. Every ceramic piece separates differently, so no two finished creations will ever be exactly alike. The position of the seams, the movement of the gold and the small decisions you make during the process become part of its individual story. No previous craft experience is required. Our illustrated instructions guide you through preparation, mixing, assembly, curing and finishing. Take your time. Let the joins remain visible. Create something that could only have been made by you. The number and position of the joins will also differ between kits, making every finished creation unique. This experience is not about making the object look untouched. It is about observing the individual pieces, understanding how they connect and rebuilding them with care. The visible golden joins become a record of the process rather than something to conceal. The finished piece becomes more than decoration. It becomes a reminder that change does not need to be hidden to be beautiful.
