About this workshop

Create your own miniature decorative pieces using air-dry polymer clay. From jewellery trays and trinket dishes to small figurines and ornaments, you'll sculpt, paint, and personalise unique handmade creations to take home.

Get creative with one of the most versatile crafting materials in our Polymer Clay Workshop. Using lightweight air-dry polymer clay, you'll sculpt your own collection of miniature decorative pieces, perfect for displaying around your home or giving as thoughtful handmade gifts.

This workshop focuses on creating small-scale projects, such as jewellery trays, trinket dishes, miniature figurines, decorative ornaments, candle holders, ring dishes, or other personalised keepsakes. The clay is ideal for detailed work, allowing you to experiment with texture, shape, and design while creating pieces that are uniquely yours.

Once your creations have dried, you'll have the opportunity to paint them using acrylic paints before we apply a protective glaze to help preserve the finished surface and enhance the colours.

Our instructors will guide you throughout the process, from shaping and sculpting to decorating and finishing, making this workshop suitable for beginners as well as those with previous crafting experience.

All materials are included, including air-dry polymer clay, sculpting tools, acrylic paints, brushes, and finishing glaze. After your pieces have fully dried and been glazed, they'll be ready for collection from the studio.

What can I make during the workshop?

You'll create small decorative pieces such as jewellery trays, ring dishes, trinket trays, miniature figurines, ornaments, candle holders, and other personalised keepsakes.

Can I make a large sculpture?

No. This workshop focuses on miniature projects, allowing you to create detailed decorative pieces rather than large sculptures.

What type of clay do you use?

We use high-quality air-dry polymer clay, which hardens naturally without the need for firing in a kiln.

Can I paint my creations?

Yes, you can paint them with acrylic paints before we apply a protective glaze.

Can I take my pieces home on the same day?

No. Your creations need time to dry completely before they can be painted and glazed. They'll be ready for collection a few days after your workshop, and we'll keep them in the studio for up to 7 days after they're ready.
